New Falcon Pointe Blvd. welcomes drivers and joggers Falcon Pointe Blvd. has just come full circle, creating more convenience for drivers and more trails for pedestrians. The community’s namesake boulevard has been extended from Grand Mission Way to the east to Kelly Lane, completing its loop and literally paving the way for several new future neighborhoods. Along with lanes for cars also come new trails, increasing the community’s total to an energizing 11.3 miles. At 8′ feet wide, these trails have plenty of room for walkers, bikers, and joggers, even during the busy “rush” hours as young students make their way to any of the community’s three onsite schools.

Falcon Pointe walking school bus drives kids’ fitness With all the news about childhood obesity and lack of exercise, it’s nice to know that Murchison Elementary School in Falcon Pointe is doing something to help. Murchison’s popular Walking School Bus is back for the second half of the school year, offering students a safe, healthy, and stress-free way to get to school. The idea is incredibly simple – ‘drivers’ (parents and community members who have completed background checks) lead caravans of students on foot to and from school each weekday. In addition to exercise, kids also enjoy quality time with friends. We think the Walking School Bus really rocks!
